Optimistic about smart car chip manufacturers busy merging Toyota's latest patent exposure: flying car research
Flying car has always existed in science fiction and science fiction movies, and it is the symbol of the future world. For decades, popular mechanics magazine has said that one day we will be able to leave the traffic jam road and fly in the sky with our own vehicles.
At present, the land air dual-use aircraft developed in the market is launched by Terrafugia in the United States. Its first generation prototype product was successfully tested in 2009, and the third generation model is currently planned to be tested in 2016-2017. But in fact, companies like Terrafugia, despite their best efforts, still don't really combine aircraft and cars.
And Toyota's latest patent is about flying car research, which is a very fashionable thing. But unlike previous flying cars, Toyota plans to hide its wings directly inside its body in a new patent. From the patent image, we can see that the design of this flying car is full of science fiction and very simple. The flight power of the whole vehicle comes from the propeller at the rear of the vehicle. When the user switches from the land mode to the flight mode, the wing will slowly rise from the back of the vehicle body. Therefore, Toyota has specially designed several different opening modes for this purpose.
